As the Retail Business Optimization Lead for Maplewave, Will is an award-winning consultant who offers insight and concrete solutions to retailers who are looking to take their business to the next level.
Will’s retail consulting experience spans over 20 years and 60 countries and includes major retail projects for international blue-chip companies. In the past, he has worked for several multinational telco’s including Vodafone, Blackberry and Cable and Wireless.
Will combines his robust telco experience with his expertise in retail customer experience and total business transformations to deliver true thought leadership. He uses his can-do mindset to collaborate and drive positive change on every project.
With his sense of camaraderie and competitive nature, he played for his local cricket club for over 15 years, leading his team to victory as captain in the Division B2 championship in 2011 and to second place in 2014. Nowadays, he is passionate about golf and enjoys playing on a traditional seaside course in the North East of England.
Will resides in England with his wife, Vick; their two-year-old son, Elijah; a German Shephard named Nisha; and a cat named Valentina.
Richard is an award-winning retail leader with over 20 years of telco experience. A Prince 2 and Agile Practitioner-qualified project manager, Richard specializes in large scale transformation projects that involve many elements, including store design, customer experience, project implementation and process improvement.
Richard has worked on many large-scale projects for major network providers that include Vodafone UK, O2 (Telefonica), Saudi Telecom, and more. From quick wins to full store re-designs, Richard implements changes that always deliver a positive ROI and enhanced customer experience.
When he’s not at work, you can most likely find Richard on the golf course, cheering on his beloved Leeds United football club, or spending time with his wife Katie and daughter Evie.
Bradley is an experienced telecommunications and logistics visionary who specializes in global relationship-building. A strategic thinker, his entrepreneurial approach transforms businesses into major industry players.
Joining the team in 2015, Bradley is an instrumental advocate who provides the strategic direction for Maplewave’s South African office. Focusing on international business growth and development, Bradley’s vast telecommunications experience is invaluable as Maplewave grows their international footprint and exports their services to the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.
Prior to joining Maplewave, he was the Managing Director of Ingram Micro South Africa. Under his leadership, they experienced phenomenal growth and became one of the largest and most effective distributors of mobile devices in South Africa.
Bradley also pioneered the concept of “Specialized Integrated Logistics” for several key organizations within South Africa. Additionally, he was instrumental in launching Goldstar/LG’s magnetic tape division in South Africa, successfully competing with industry giants such as TDK and BASF.
He’s also a founding member of the MTEL and MTN telecommunications companies, which he co-established in 1994.
Kevin is a results-driven senior IT executive who is experienced in the design, development and implementation of technology that drives profitable business. A strategic thinker, he’s an expert in leading all facets of a business including IT planning, cloud computing, business/process development, project management, customer experience and network support/operations.
Previously the Chief Technology Officer from 2008 to 2010, Kevin re-joined the Maplewave team in 2015 as the Vice President of Information Technology. He leads a team of dedicated professionals and provides exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders while defining the strategic vision for the future of IT within Maplewave.
After Maplewave’s recent migration to the public cloud, Kevin now leads their new Consulting Service and helps customers define and execute their cloud strategy.
Kevin has two grown children and currently resides in Ardoise, Nova Scotia with Nancy, his wife of 30 years. He is actively involved in the community and has served on the boards of multiple non-profit organizations, most recently as a co-founder and president of the Windsor Volleyball Association and on the board of Avon Valley Golf and Country club.
Grant is an accomplished IT professional who brings a strong focus to the predictable delivery of quality software while linking business values to software solutions.
Grant joined Maplewave in 2011. As VP of Digital Transformation, he’s responsible for product architecture, roadmap, and product delivery of our Point of Sale and paperless contracts SaaS solutions.
He has significant experience in the architecture and delivery of SaaS products. His skills have been used in many areas including management of projects and product releases, design, analysis and more. Grant’s management positions have spanned various sectors including government, industry and start-up environments.
Grant holds a B.Sc. Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Master’s in Business Administration from Dalhousie University in Halifax.
When he’s not coaching soccer, Grant can be found in Dartmouth, NS with his wife and growing family.
Kotie is a high-performing retail optimisation specialist who has over 20 years of experience in retail training, process improvement and telco call centres. Her wide-breadth of telco-specific experience makes her an incredible asset to Maplewave.
From helping struggling stores regain their profitability, to creating sales productivity programs, Kotie has been an established leader and mentor throughout her career. A major highlight was her development of a training academy program that taught retail store managers and consultants best practices before being assigned to a retail store.
Based out of our South Africa office, Kotie joined Maplewave in 2016. Since then, she has worked on several key projects in South Africa, Botswana, and the UK. In addition to rollout support, we have relied on Kotie for her footfall and time & motion expertise, as well as her top-notch in-store training.
In her spare time, Kotie makes rag dolls to comfort children who are suffering from cancer. She loves to scrapbook, as well as convince her teenage daughter on the importance of job satisfaction – if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life!
